Storyline
In the year 1932, Tony and Brenda Last, a charming and devoted couple with a son named John Andrew, seem to lead an idyllic life in their grand Victorian Gothic mansion—a symbol of Tony’s family heritage. However, their tranquil existence is disrupted one weekend when they unwittingly host John Beaver, a frivolous young socialite without means.
