I like the book way better! But still enjoying the show with my husband, who hasn’t read the book.
Not sure why they changed so much in the tv series when in my opinion they really didn’t need to. The book was way better than the series and more believable. I may have liked the tv series more if I had never read the books. I loved the book and watching the tv series just made me mad that so much was different.
The show is great, but the book’s storyline is much better in my opinion. I was a little disappointed to see the show be different from the book.
I understand that books need to be adapted for the screen, but the major plot changes in the series feel forced and unrealistic. I was really hoping the series did the book justice but there is no comparison. Still worth a watch though.
They changed the whole timeline and the inner dialog is such a huge and easy thing to incorporate, the show is good but almost wish I watched the show first because it’s kinda disappointing compared to the book but that just shows how great the book is.
