Storyline
Taking place in 1991, the show unfolds in Southern California and focuses on Jack Dunlevy, an ex-military individual known for his no-nonsense attitude. When his wife opts to attend law school, Jack takes on the role of a full-time parent to their teenagers, Frankie and Rachel. However, he adopts an unconventional approach to parenting, attempting to keep his kids in line in his own unique way.
