Storyline
A comic and revisionist retelling of Romeo and Juliet in which we view ‘the most famous love tale ever recounted’ through the perspective of Rosaline, Juliet’s cousin and the recent ex-girlfriend of Romeo. Rosaline is a smart but idealistic young woman. What starts off as an effort to ruin the well-known relationship and win back her boyfriend transforms into a journey of self-discovery as she ultimately works to reunite the two lovers.
