Storyline
The film tells the love story of Zian, a mountain guide, and Brigitte, a Parisian bourgeois. Their love is thwarted by the cultural difference between the two as well as by the cold welcome that is reserved for Brigitte, the stranger in this mountain environment. In the end, Brigitte understands that she is really in love with Zian who dies after a fall in a crevasse, during a hunting trip in the mountains.
