Storyline
The series traces DI Tom Thorne’s inquiry into a perplexing serial killer case. The initial three victims met a fatal end, but the fourth, Alison Willetts, wasn’t as fortunate. Alison has survived a stroke intentionally induced through manipulation of pressure points on the head and neck. While she remains fully conscious, able to see, hear, and feel everything around her, she is incapacitated and unable to move or communicate. The police interpret the decision to leave Alison alive as the killer’s first apparent mistake.

“I'm not writing novels, the screenplays are my novels. If the movie never gets made, it'd almost be okay because I did it. It's there on the page.”
