Storyline
Following an unjust incarceration lasting 16 years, Dolores Roach comes back to a transformed Washington Heights, now gentrified. There, she reconnects with an old companion, Luis, who welcomes her to stay and operate as a masseuse in the basement beneath his empanada shop. As the prospect of her recently acquired stability becomes endangered, the moniker ‘Magic Hands’ Dolores resorts to astonishing measures to ensure her survival.
