Storyline
On the evening of December 31st, Jérôme Martinaud, a notary, is summoned to the police station to testify about the murder and rape of two young girls. Detectives Gallien and Belmont, convinced of the guilt of the prominent figure, put him in custody. Gallien tries at all costs to make him confess, but despite everything, the case stagnates. It is then that Mrs. Martinaud, the suspect’s wife, makes a decisive statement for the investigation.
