Storyline
Falsely accused by those envious of his good fortune, Edmond Dantes receives a life sentence in the notorious island prison, Chateau d’If. During his imprisonment, he encounters a fellow inmate who shares with Edmond the existence of a remarkable treasure hidden on a secluded island. After the Abbe’s death, Edmond escapes by assuming the identity of the deceased. Now at liberty, Edmond is determined to locate the treasure and use the newfound wealth to seek revenge against those who have unjustly harmed him.
