Storyline
During July 1916, an isolated Great White shark deviated from its typical deep-ocean dwelling and made its way toward the New Jersey shoreline. In an astonishing turn of events, this fierce and unpredictable predator embarked on a deadly spree, attacking swimmers near the towns of Beach Haven and Spring Lake, as well as a farming community located eleven miles inland. These incidents marked the first-ever recorded shark attacks on swimmers in the history of the United States.
