Storyline
Detective Hatcher becomes infuriated when Judge Laird declares a mistrial, resulting in Savitch’s acquittal due to a juror’s mistake. Several weeks later, Elise Laird, the judge’s wife, confronts a burglar in their home and fatally shoots him. As new information comes to light, the circumstances surrounding the shooting become increasingly dubious, casting suspicion on both Elise and the judge in relation to Savitch.
