Storyline
In the 1950s, while carrying out his duties as chief pathologist at the Dublin City Morgue, the reclusive and sour Quirke pursues a solitary life, treating his depression by frequenting Dublin’s dingy taverns and alleyways. Though, Quirke’s inherent curiosity to learn the truth quickly sends him on a tour of Dublin’s less savory districts, where he encounters unsolved problems from his own history that are best left unattended. As he starts to uncover discrepancies during routine tests, however.
