Storyline
Teresa Mendoza is forced to flee to America and seek asylum after her drug-dealing boyfriend is brutally murdered in Mexico. In order to take down the boss of the same drug trafficking organization that has her on the run, she partners up with an unusual character from her past there. She acquires the necessary skills along the way and cleverly positions herself to take over as cartel boss.
