Storyline
Being a homicide detective in New York is already a challenging job, but for Jane Timoney, it’s even tougher due to the male-dominated police department that makes earning respect an uphill battle. Jane finds herself as an outsider, recently transferred to a new precinct where a group of male cops is reluctant to grant her the benefit of the doubt. They suspect she got the job through an alleged illicit affair with her boss, adding to the obstacles she faces in gaining their trust.
