Storyline
The movie traces the journey of Trond, a widower grappling with grief, as he retreats to the secluded woods of Norway to spend the remainder of his life. A serendipitous meeting with his neighbor Lars serves as a catalyst, awakening dormant memories. In this reconnection, Trond comes to the realization that he and Lars shared a connection back in the summer of 1948.
