Storyline
Thirteen-year-old Joel Samson receives a summons to a vast and deteriorating plantation estate, where he is to reunite with a father he hasn’t seen in nearly a decade. Upon his arrival, he encounters Amy Skully, the mistress of the house, along with Randolph, her morally corrupt and peculiar cousin. Curiously, Joel’s father is nowhere to be found.
