Storyline
King David, a tough and stylish criminal, returns to his hometown in search of redemption but instead meets a violent demise. However, his final moments are shared with Paul, an aspiring journalist with whom he had a brief encounter but who would be forever influenced by him. King David, a hybrid of preacher and Satan with a keen street sense, had documented his life story on audiotape, leaving behind a poetic sermon on villainy and its repercussions.

“A really great popcorn movie is extremely hard to pull off. A really great popcorn book is equally hard to pull off, so I don't feel guilty devouring one.”
