Greg Laurie was looking for the meaning of life, much like many other people who came of age in the 1960s. In order to escape the dysfunction of his dysfunctional family, Greg began drinking, partying, and doing drugs. Greg was born out of wedlock to an alcoholic mother who had seven marriages. But when he came into a group of young Christians on the grounds of his high school in Newport Beach, California, his life was abruptly transformed.
