Storyline
Williams is a veteran civil servant and paper-pusher in the post-WWII London. Upon receiving a devastating medical diagnosis, he withdraws all his savings and travels to the south coast with the goal of making the most of his remaining days, but soon realizes he lacks the knowledge on how to do it. A mysterious stranger takes him out on the town and he becomes captivated by a cheerful young female colleague who possess the energy he never had.
