Storyline
The heartwarming tale of a kind, mentally challenged guy who must deal with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and the challenging challenges that go along with it. After undergoing experimental brain surgery to boost his IQ, Charlie is inspired by his newfound genius, but he also struggles to accept his former self and begins to doubt the worth of his knowledge. He confides in his teacher, Alice, who he starts to fall for, and Algernon, a lab mouse who underwent the same treatment.
