Storyline
The United States Government has turned Manhattan into a giant maximum-security prison. A 50-foot wall surrounds the island, bridges have been mined, and all prisoners are sentenced to life terms. In 1997, when the U.S. president crashes into Manhattan, a convicted bank robber is sent in to rescue him.
