Storyline
The film follows Grace’s tumultuous marriage to a French aristocrat during WWII, as they are separated for nearly a decade and ultimately divorce due to Charles’s infidelity. Despite their son’s resistance, Grace and Charles are unable to shake their feelings for each other.
