Storyline
In a moment of reluctance, Detective Carl Mørck delegates the task to his junior colleague, Rose, in Department Q, responding to the persistent requests of his former colleague, Christian Habersaat. However, Christian’s suicide during his retirement ceremony thrusts Rose into a journey delving into her own traumatic history. Subsequently, the recently engaged Carl arrives on the island. Together with Rose and Assad, they become entangled in an old cold case involving a girl found dead, hanging from a tree.
