Storyline
Van Veeteren discovers that retiring from the police force is not as straightforward as he thought when two decapitated bodies are discovered in quick succession. The matching modus operandi in these gruesome murders prompts the investigative teams from Maardam and Kaalbringen to join forces, although this collaboration is not without its challenges.
