Storyline
The story takes place in the north of Tyrol. The resident veterinarian, Dr. Alexander Rell is a handsome man and very popular with women. His great hobby is mountaineering, which he has always devoted himself to in the Alps. Ever since Alexander lost his fiancé to lightning on a rock climb years ago, Rell has become quite withdrawn from single people and other people, especially women. One day he meets the local film actress Patricia Theotokis, who Rell falls in love with.

“To me the best book adaptations are like 'Brokeback Mountain.' Which is a short story, 21 pages, that expands so beautifully into a movie.”
