Sir Anthony Blunt, a 25-year Soviet operative who has been knighted and serving as the director of the Courtauld Institute, is frequently questioned and refuses to respond. He also offers his interrogator a conundrum in the form of a dubious Titian painting. Additionally, he restores artwork at Buckingham Palace, where he strikes up a fascinating dialogue with the Queen.
