Storyline
The painful memory of Kathleen’s father leaving her and her mother on Christmas Eve has followed her around. She has been holding her mother accountable for that evening for the past 30 years and will not participate in any Christmas festivities. Despite her best efforts, her past has not left her, and as Christmas approaches, she finds herself trapped in her own house with two strangers: Lucy, her soon-to-be fiancé’s daughter, and Sam, a kind older man Kathleen temporarily housed.
