Harry Palmer’s first case is The Ipcress File, which involves a missing British nuclear scientist. But Palmer’s links to the man suspected of the kidnap takes him on a potentially deadly undercover global mission from Berlin, to London, Beirut and a nuclear atoll in the Pacific. Will Palmer survive brainwashing, inter-departmental rivalry, treason and a series of dangerous twists and turns?

The film alternates between the early years of World War II and the end of the 20th century. Rose McNulty has been a patient in the Sligo Regional Mental Hospital for 40 years since being accused of murdering her baby in 1942. The facility is scheduled for demolition. Dr. Stephen Grene is a psychiatrist who, at the request of the local Catholic Church, is evaluating whether Rose should be transferred or released.

After his pregnant wife is fatally shot by an SAS officer, a retired Irish paramilitary becomes a wounded and presumed dead fugitive who outwits the SAS before seeking revenge on the dark and paranoid streets of 1970’s London.
