Basin City, almost universally referred to by the nickname Sin City, is a fictional town in the American west. The Basin City Police Department are more or less along the lines of paramilitary or SWAT, as they have to deal with incredibly high crime rates among criminals and civilians alike, which is why they have access to what most would consider heavy weaponry and full body armor.

In February 1969, Hollywood actor Rick Dalton fears his career is fading. Dalton’s best friend and stunt double, Cliff Booth drives Dalton around Los Angeles because Dalton’s driver’s license has been suspended due to his DUI arrests. Booth struggles to find stunt work because of rumors he murdered his wife.

In 1995, Jackie Brown, a flight attendant for a fictional Mexican airline named Cabo Air, makes ends meet by smuggling money from Mexico into the United States for Ordell Robbie, a gun runner living in Los Angeles. Ordell arranges for $10,000 bail with bondsman Max Cherry, then lures Livingston into a car trunk and kills him.

It’s Ted the Bellhop’s first night on the job…and the hotel’s very unusual guests are about to place him in some outrageous predicaments. It seems that this evening’s room service is serving up one unbelievable happening after another.

Unlike the first two Creepshow installments, in which the wraparound element linking the stories was a horror comic, Creepshow 3 takes an approach similar to Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, in which characters from each story interact with each other during the film. Brochures, ads and other things from the hot dog stand are peppered throughout.
