Patricia Collins is called to the morgue one evening to help identify a deceased. She discovers, to her astonishment, that the person on the gurney is a duplicate of herself! She must persuade the insurance company that her missing father, Dr. Burton Collins, is dead while trying to solve this mystery. They contend that he faked his own death to commit financial fraud in the absence of a body.
