For generations, a secret war has raged between vampires and Lycans, an ancient species of werewolf. After years of fighting between the two enemy races, the vampires have seemingly gained the upper hand following the death of the Lycan leader Lucian at the hands of a vampire named Kraven, who subsequently became the second-in-command to the vampires’ triumvirate of leading elders.

The film tells the story of Lucian, the first werewolf born capable of taking human form and the first to be called a Lycan. Sonja is reckless and insubordinate, and one night Lucian escapes the shackles preventing him from turning werewolf and rescues Sonja from his werewolf brethren.

Taking place in a dystopian contemporary world, celestial gargoyles and malevolent demons become embroiled in an epic battle for the ultimate prize: the secret of eternal life. Within this conflict, only Frankenstein’s monster possesses the crucial knowledge. The creature created by Frankenstein is thrust into a relentless and age-old feud between two undying factions.
