Astory about Todd McCray, a young man with learning disabilities, who lives with his parents in a small town in the Midwest. The story spans a two-week period during the Christmas break when the neighborhood animal shelter introduces a ‘Adopt a dog for Christmas’ campaign. Todd is able to take on an endeavor to make sure that as many dogs as possible are adopted by the neighborhood because of his unwavering love for animals.
